1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how VectorDating ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the VectorDating mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

VectorDating is intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old.

2. Information We Process

Account information

• Email address: Used to create, authenticate, and support your account.
• User ID: A unique identifier used to associate your account with your saved content and subscription access.
• Authentication information: If you use Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, the authentication provider sends us the information needed to sign you in, such as a provider user identifier and, when available, an email address. Password authentication is handled by our authentication provider; we do not receive your password in readable form.

Photos, screenshots, and content

• Photos or videos: Profile or conversation screenshots that you choose to upload for analysis.
• Conversation and profile content: Text, message context, profile details, preferences, and other information that you enter or that the Service extracts from an uploaded image at your request.
• AI results: Reply drafts, openers, profile summaries, and other results generated from the content you submit.

Content you upload may contain information about another person. You are responsible for having permission to provide that content and for avoiding unnecessary sensitive or identifying information.

Subscription information

When you subscribe through the App Store, we receive limited subscription information needed to unlock features, such as the product, entitlement status, and renewal or expiration status. Apple processes your payment. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Routine service data

Our servers and infrastructure may temporarily process routine request information, such as an IP address, request time, and error details, when needed to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the Service. We do not use this information to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Authenticate users and maintain accounts.
• Provide requested features, including image analysis and AI-generated drafts.
• Save and synchronize content that you choose to retain.
• Verify and restore subscription access.
• Respond to support, safety, and account requests.
• Prevent abuse and maintain the security of the Service.
• Diagnose errors and improve reliability.
• Comply with applicable law and enforce our terms.

4. Service Providers and Disclosure

We disclose information only as needed to operate the Service, comply with law, or protect users and the Service. Our current service providers include:

• Supabase: Authentication, database, and file storage.
• Google Cloud Vertex AI: Processing submitted text and images to provide requested AI features.
• OpenRouter and its selected inference provider: Fallback processing of submitted text and images when the primary Google Cloud models cannot complete a requested AI feature.
• Apple: App distribution, authentication where selected, and App Store payments.
• RevenueCat: Subscription status and entitlement management.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers: Secure delivery and operation of the Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not track your activity across other companies' apps or websites for advertising purposes.

5. AI Processing

Content submitted for an AI feature is sent to our servers and the AI service provider identified above so that the requested result can be generated. AI output may be inaccurate and should be reviewed before use. We do not use submitted content to build advertising profiles or to train a public VectorDating AI model.

6. Retention and Deletion

We retain account information and saved content while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service. Retention may be longer where required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

You can delete uploaded images and conversation sessions using the controls provided in the app. You can delete your account in Settings > Account > Delete Account, or contact us at [email protected]. Limited backup, security, or transaction records may remain for a legally permitted period before being deleted or de-identified.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may exercise available in-app controls or contact us. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

9. International Processing

The Service and its providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the revised version on this page and update the date above. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where required.
